Some general dental practices refer children’s dentistry elsewhere. Worth checking whether the practice has a dedicated children’s dentistry service and treats kids on-site. Can they handle bigger jobs in-house?

Some practices refer these out to a specialist, which means more appointments and more retelling your history. Others handle it in-house. Do the hours actually suit your family?
“Open weekdays” isn’t a differentiator, most practices are. What matters is whether there’s a genuinely useful evening or weekend option for a family that can’t easily take a weekday afternoon off. We’re open until 7pm on Thursdays and on alternate Saturday mornings, specifically because a 9-to-5 weekday-only schedule doesn’t work for a lot of local families.
